Christmas will be here before you know it! And while my favorite thing about the holiday season is getting to see all my family, I also love getting people gifts and hold gift giving as one of my love languages.
This year, I have decided to do gift guides a little differently. All the items featured in this post are items that I own, use often and love, or items that are similar to my personal favorites if I could not find the exact item.
Christmas Gift Guide for Her:
1. Hydro Flask / 2. Ray-Bans / 3. Birthstone Necklace / 4. Sentimental Ornament / 5. Beer Glasses / 6. AirPods / 7. Golden Goose / 8. Name Necklace / 9. FEED Tote / 10. Pearl Necklace / 11. Tini Lux Studs / 12. Gift Card / 13. Kitchen Knife / 14. Coffee Table Book (Worn Stories) / 15. The BEST Wine Ever / 16. Novel (A Life Less Throwaway) / 17. Heir Raleigh Jewelry / 18. Coach Rogue / 19. Canon G7X / 20. Uggs
1. Hydro Flask
My boyfriend got me my Hydro Flask for my birthday last year, and it is one of my favorite things. I swear, without it, I would never drink water. I have a hard time drinking water without it these days!
One thing about the Hydro Flasks is that they need to be cleaned regularly. I know this may seem obvious, but many people neglect to clean their reusable water bottles regularly. If you are gifting a Hydro Flask, consider including the straw lid, straw cleaners and a water bottle brush (these also make great stocking stuffers).
2. Ray-Bans
You’ll start to notice that all of these items are my favorites, but these are my favorite sunglasses. I used to have aviator Ray-Bans that I loved, but they were metal and have gotten a little wonky over the years. These are plastic and have held their shape while still having that aviator style.
3. Birthstone Necklace
I have a birthstone necklace very similar to this one that I was gifted by my grandparents YEARS ago… and just started wearing daily this year. I’ve never shopped from the site I found this birthstone necklace on, and am not an expert on jewelry quality, so I have chosen not to link it and encourage you to do your research, and shop locally, if possible, so you can see the piece in person and ask questions. But my point is that good quality jewelry is a long-lasting gift that will be appreciated in years to come.
4. Sentimental Ornament
An ornament can be a great thoughtful and affordable gift. It can be as simple as something you know they are interested in, or monumenting a personal moment from the year. This one is similar to an ornament my boyfriend got me for our first Christmas after moving into our first apartment together. There are tons of these on Etsy, I would just make sure you are getting one that is glass not acrylic because the quality will be better. Mine is also etched if you can find one like that.
5. Beer Glasses
You may think that this is a weird item to include, but these beer can glasses are perfect for making iced coffee at home, or pretty much any other drink. I love the shape and size and always pair them with a glass reusable straw. Drinks are just better when they are on ice and paired with a straw.
6. AirPods
My AirPods are one of the most-used products I own. I have an older generation that retail for around $100 these days, and I would re-purchase these exact ones if I lost them. They aren’t noise-canceling, but they get the job done.
I haven’t tried Apple’s headphones, but I did have a pair of wireless Beats in college that I loved.
7. Golden Goose
My mom got me a pair of Golden Goose for Christmas a few years ago. They were not something I would have purchased myself, but they are now my most worn pair of shoes. I have nearly worn mine to the ground (and, to be honest, they haven’t held up amazingly for how expensive they are. My heel is damaged, but it’s probably partially my fault for sliding my foot in instead of untying the shoes every time and trying to DIY fix it.), but they are something that I would re-purchase.
Another great option that is more affordable is Vejas. I do not personally own any Vejas, but they seem to be a great company, and I would consider getting a pair as my next white sneaker.
8. Name Necklace
The next gift on my Christmas gift guide for her is a name necklace. My mom also got me a name necklace similar to this one a few years ago for Christmas, and it is one of the jewelry pieces that I never take off. The one that she got me used to be gold but is now silver from me literally never taking it off.
I am still learning about jewelry quality and how to know which pieces are “waterproof,” but from what I can tell, gold-filled is the next best thing to solid gold, and less likely to tarnish or cause irritation than gold-plated jewelry.
9. FEED Tote Bag
This FEED tote bag is my go-to bag for a quick trip to the grocery store or shopping at local boutiques or the thrift store. Tote bags are great for reducing your plastic waste when shopping, but they are also great for carrying necessities for going to the gym or working at a coffee shop.
10. Pearl Necklace
This pearl necklace is my favorite necklace. I wear it every single day, but it is more delicate, so I do not sleep in it or shower in it. It is made by a small designer, Leslie Francesca, and she has TONS of cute pieces!
11. Tini Lux Studs
Ever since I got my second holes pierced, my ears have been super sensitive to the types of earrings I wear, and these are some of the only earrings I can keep in (and shower and sleep in) without my ears flaring up or having to worry about them!
12. Gift Card
The gift card could be to any of their favorite places, such as Target, Sephora, Starbucks or a small business (bonus points), but the goal is for the gift card to be used for somewhere they would spend their own money in the first place. It would also be a great idea to give a gift card for a service they regularly get done, such as a gift card to their favorite nail salon!
13. Kitchen Knife
I had no idea how life-changing a good knife could be until my parents gifted me one for Christmas last year. Salsa recipes that used to take me HOURS can now be completed in less than 60 minutes.
14. Coffee Table Book Related to their Interests
Coffee table books are some of my favorite Christmas gifts to receive, especially when they are related to my interests. Worn Stories is one of my favorite coffee table books that I actually read and would recommend to any fashion lover.
15. Wine
Wine is always a great gift (for people who are of age, and choose to drink wine). This chocolate red wine by Point Lookout is my all-time favorite wine.
16. Novel
The next gift on my Christmas gift guide for her is a novel. A novel is another great gift that can also be thoughtful. A Life Less Throwaway is an amazing book about consumerism, not treating items as disposable and buying for life. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in better shopping habits. If you aren’t sure what the person you are gifting is interested in or what series they are currently reading, you could also gift a bookstore or Kindle gift card.
17. Heir Raleigh Jewelry
Heir Raleigh is my all-time favorite jewelry brand, and I highly recommend any of the brand’s pieces. I have bracelets from Heir that I haven’t taken off in 1.5+ years, and they are still in near-perfect condition. Plus, the brand’s earrings don’t bother my ears, and it’s a small business, and Sophie, the owner, is an NC State alumni.
18. Coach Rogue Bag
If you don’t follow me on TikTok, you may not know that I had a Coach Pillow Tabby and the strap broke off. I sent it into Coach to have it repaired, and they were unable to repair it, so they gave me a gift card for the full retail value of the bag, even though my boyfriend had purchased it for me on sale (talk about top-tier customer service).
After much debate on how I would spend the gift card, I finally settled on the Rogue, and I am so happy with my decision. I have the size 20 in black smooth leather with silver hardware and a leather interior, and I love it because it feels like a leather jacket in bag form and is a classic style that will (hopefully) last for many years to come.
19. Canon G7X
If the person you are gifting is into content creation or specifically wants to start a YouTube channel, a Canon G7X is an amazing gift. My mom got me one for Christmas years ago when I first started my YouTube channel, and I still use it for filming today.
20. Mini Uggs
No gift feels more “Christmas” to me than Uggs. Maybe it’s because I grew up watching (and filming) “What I Got for Christmas” hauls featuring Uggs, but Uggs always sound like a great Christmas present to me. The mini, ultra mini and Tasman Slipper versions are currently the most sought-after styles, and I wouldn’t mind having a new pair of minis or ultra minis myself.
21. A trip
The last gift on my Christmas Gift Guide for Her is a trip or tickets to an activity or event. For both my boyfriend’s and my birthday last year, we went on weekend trips instead of getting each other gifts. It was a great way to celebrate while crossing something off our bucket list and making memories together.
