The theme of this pack with me episode was easy, effortless and pieces I have already had on repeat early this summer. Under each section below, I have linked the corresponding pieces I could find along with secondhand options when available.
Everyday Casual Summer Outfits:
1. Effortless Dresses

Dresses are one of the easiest pieces to wear in the summer. They are effortless, breathable and help you look put together without requiring much thought or styling.
The bag in the first image is one of my favorites for summer. It is seemingly difficult to find the black leather handle version I have now, but there is a bamboo handle version that is readily available, and I did manage to find one exactly like mine on Poshmark (though the price is much higher than what I paid for mine a year and a half ago).
The white linen dress is available all over Poshmark, and I found it, the gingham dress and the bags available secondhand by reverse image searching through the Beni app.
2. Oversized Vintage Button Downs

I have a chambray men’s button-down that is probably my favorite and most-worn item in my closet. Thinking that was a sign I should purchase more oversized men’s button-downs, I thrifted these three vintage Ralph Lauren button-downs. While they were great for the beach and I have worn each to the office once already, I haven’t found myself gravitating to these as much as I had hoped. I guess the hypothesis that “if you love it, you should get it in another color” doesn’t necessarily hold.
I found these three at my local thrift store, but if you are having a hard time finding them in person, there are tons available on secondhand websites if you search terms like “vintage blue Ralph Lauren button down,” “vintage blue and white striped Ralph Lauren button down” and “vintage linen Ralph Lauren button down.” You can find vintage white shorts similar to my thrifted pair by searching terms like “vintage white high waisted denim shorts” and looking for brands like Levi’s and Bill Blass.
3. A Cozy Cardigan in a Summer Color

I saw this cardigan on a friend of a friend. I had no idea where it was from, but a few detailed Google searches of “light yellow cableknit v neck cardigan” and various other keyword pairings led me to find it available at retail price. Then, I used the Beni app and was able to find it secondhand on Poshmark! It’s still available and on sale at retail at the time I am writing this post, but I highly encourage you to check secondhand sites as well.
The blue and white striped top underneath is a thrifted and easy to find on the secondhand market. I’ve linked some options below, along with some options I like the look of.
4. A Silk Tank and Jeans

This vintage silk tank is a $11 Poshmark purchase I took a chance on that has quickly become one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I think it’s simply an intimates tank – nothing crazy, but it filled a hole in my closet as a top that is appropriate for going to dinner or out with friends, but also casual enough that I don’t feel overdressed and feel like I could wear it anywhere.
5. An Athleisure Romper or Matching Set

Athleisure sets and rompers are another great option for easy outfits that require minimal effort and make you look put together without feeling overdressed.
I bought this new last year, and I am honestly shocked at how many are available secondhand online this year for 50% off or more. I love this piece – my only issue with it is that I think I need a size up because the button on the V neck tends to pull. Maybe I will pick up one of the ones available on Poshmark myself!
